Linking[edit]

Argon233 had removed all redlinks and all yearlinks, in accord with the wikipedia policy. However, I feel that while linking to the years is indeed unnecessary, linking to titles and authors (even redlinked) is informative, as it gives a clear indication which important series and authors (important, as winners of Angoulême) not have wikipedia articles yet, and as it is probable that most (if not all) of these will get an article sooner or later. That's why I reverted the article to the previous version (I do not see Argon233's changes as vandalism though, just a different style opinion). This way, it is obvious that e.g. "Alix" (Jacques Martin) isn't an article yet, or that author François Boucq does not have an article either. Both are very important and should have their own article. For me, such a list can be a motivation to go and start an article when I have the idea that I have sufficient knowledge for at least a decent stub.

Following the idea behind the wikipedia policy, I have only linked to the series titles and not to the individual album titles, as those are not probable to get an individual article.

My advice would be to remove the links to the years, remove duplicate links (mainly to the publishers, and some series and authors), and leave the rest as it is. But discussion is of course welcome... Fram 13:03, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
