I think this still needs some cleanup, but it looks a little better now. Monni 07:47, 14 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Is it true that when Andy was absent from shinhwa, he was going to commit suicide?

No, this isn't true. It was only a rumour and though the issue was allowed to get bigger than it should have been, the truth was that he was in America finishing his education. Hsstorm 06:04, 1 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Should it be mentioned here?

Fair use rationale for Image:Andy goodenter.jpg[edit]

Image:Andy goodenter.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

File:AndyLee.jpg Nominated for speedy Deletion[edit]

An image used in this article, File:AndyLee.jpg, has been nominated for speedy deletion at Wikimedia Commons for the following reason: Copyright violations
What should I do?

Don't panic; deletions can take a little longer at Commons than they do on Wikipedia. This gives you an opportunity to contest the deletion (although please review Commons guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to upload it to Wikipedia (Commons does not allow fair use)
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale then it cannot be uploaded or used.
  • If the image has already been deleted you may want to try Commons Undeletion Request

To take part in any discussion, or to review a more detailed deletion rationale please visit the relevant image page (File:AndyLee.jpg)

Moved, per consensus. bd2412 T 20:21, 3 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Andy Lee (entertainer)Andy Lee (Korean singer) – Firstly fails WP:CRITERIA on Naturalness" since called "singer Andy Lee" not "entertainer Andy Lee" in most sources. Secondly, fails WP:DAB, since Andy Lee (comedian) is what anyone from Australia would expect to find at this "entertainer" title, and (although not well known outside Germany) Andy Lee (German musician) might be what is expected by German users straying into en.wp. --Relisted. -- tariqabjotu 03:57, 21 September 2013 (UTC) In ictu oculi (talk) 02:36, 13 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Dohn joe.
Which is why I didn't give numbers, just simple link to Google. When someone isn't notable in Google Books the idea of using plain Google is that it is up to the user of plain Google to be able to identify WP:IRS reliable sources in the search run such as Korea Times Andy Lee Starts Military Service:

Singer Andy Lee entered the military Monday, becoming the first member of popular six-member boy group Shinhwa to start the two-year mandatory military service.

Or Korea Herald. These are the two main English language newspapers in South Korea and both continually describe the members of Shinhwa, Eric Mun, Lee Min-woo, Kim Dong-wan, Shin Hye-sung, Jun Jin and Andy Lee as "singers". Show us a Korea Herald or Korea Times article which describes Andy Lee as an "entertainer Andy Lee," they don't. In ictu oculi (talk) 00:49, 14 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
...more importantly, you have failed to address that references to entertainment + Andy Lee = Australian Andy Lee (comedian), even searching on the singer pulls up the Australian comedian. In ictu oculi (talk) 00:51, 14 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment at the very least this should be Andy Lee (Korean entertainer), since there are many entertainers listed at Andy Lee, and that title should therefore be redirected to the disambiguation page -- 70.24.249.39 (talk) 09:31, 15 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
    • Support current disambiguation is ambiguous, and the current title should redirect to the disambiguation page -- 70.24.249.39 (talk) 00:35, 22 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support per the above search data and the ambiguity noted by the editor from IP 70.24.249.39 - and also, of course, because "entertainer" is a bad disambiguator in the first place. 168.12.253.66 (talk) 18:50, 15 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
The above discussion is preserved as an archive of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on this talk page. No further edits should be made to this section.

Removal of nicknames from infobox[edit]

I removed the various nicknames from the 'also known as' field of the Infobox; that field is for alternate names used professionally and not addressed elsewhere in the Infobox. Please do not re-add any nicknames in that field. :) Shinyang-i (talk) 06:23, 13 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
