The Year of the Fire[edit]

It was in June 9, 1994 when Lisa allegadly burned down the mansion. Even though the media states that Lisa "burned" it down as if it was on purpose, it actually was an accident. She was really trying to burn Andre's shoes in a tub, when the tub melted and the whole house soon burned down. Apparently, Lisa was in a very abuseful relationship with Andre. Andre was always physically abusing and battering Left Eye. In fact, you should watch VH1 RockDocs' "Last Days of Left Eye", and you will discover that Andre brutally battered Left Eye in the face and that's when Left Eye burned his shoes in a tub that melted, causing fire to spread to the whole house. So essentially, it really was an accident and Left Eye's intentions were not to burn the house but to the shoes Andre was wearing.

Speaking of the Fire & the Abusive Relationship between Andre and Lisa[edit]

Lisa's wikipedia page under "personal life" has a lot to do with her relationship to Andre. It is made clear on her biographical info that Andre was physically and mentally abusive, and still, she has several tattoos representing him etc. However, not much about Lisa is mentioned in his biography. What is frustrating for me is that even though he is a well known perpetrator of domestic abuse, even according to others in this talk behind the scenes, it is not spoken about in his article. I believe that this should be made clear, perhaps to stop from putting all the burden of the abuse onto the victim's biography. The abuser should be recognized as such clearly. If any famous individual started a fight with a person of the same gender (unless they were in a romantic relationship), a biography would be clear to say so. We should use the same reasoning to fix Andre's bio. I am asking for someone more knowledgeable about this subject to write something. Or else I will return and research for two hours to add in a few sentences ;-) </end mini rant>

Why?[edit]
