Untitled section[edit]

This doesn't make any kind of sense. Can someone please verify this article as I don't see a computer animated woman, only terrible journalism. --60.234.217.130 03:47, 15 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Check under the Video-reports section. It seems that it is currently under maintenance or some such. MacMoney 17:57, 27 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
It's now been at least six months since Ananova.com corresponded in any way with its description here. Ananova.com now presents nothing more than a mediocre news aggregator.

Actually the video reports are unavailable and instead there is a message that says, "Come back soon", ...that message has been there for years now. 03:36, 26 September 2006 (CET)

Trivia: Fark.com has informally banned links to Ananova articles. Fark's "Posting Guidelines" page does not forbid submitting such links, but they evidently will not be approved by the moderators. Several Farkers have speculated that this is due to Ananova's alleged habit of recycling stories, but since repeats of other news articles frequently get approved it is liklier that this is not the reason.

After several incidents where Ananova was suspected of repeating Fark articles without attribution, Ananova was caught repeating a bogus story Drew placed on Fark, at which point the decision was made by Drew/the mods to blackball Ananova. Ask a mod via email and they will confirm this. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 134.114.228.79 (talkcontribs)

New edit[edit]

Sept '06 Altered last line to make clear that Ananova is currently not with us. (And unlikely to ever return IMHO)
