References added[edit]

Untitled[edit]

The original article contained an external link at the bottom to a long list of publications. I had organized it in that fashion for clarity, but this seems to have created a question about notability among Wikipedia editors, and a tag to be added saying that the article needed references or sources for verification. I've recently moved some of those references into the article itself, so that they are no longer on a separate external page. I hope this helps to address these two concerns.

A tag indicating that the article may need to be Wikified to meet quality guidelines was also added. I went through those guidelines and spotted one issue -- the capitalization of the second & third word in section headings. I've made those section headings lower case. As far as I could tell when reading through those extensive guidelines, the article seems to otherwise comply with the style guidelines. If there is a deviation I'm not spotting, please point it out.

I am unsure what I am supposed to do to have these concerns re-reviewed, so that the "consideration for deletion" and the "This article has multiple issues" header is removed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ldc (talkcontribs) 19:28, 11 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Product placement[edit]

This seems to be less informative than just advertising. --62.141.169.250 (talk) 12:17, 3 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Remove tag?[edit]

The article seems to me to be informative and correct, and to discuss a significant modeling system. I believe that the off-putting warning tags should be removed. What's the fuss about? Are negative commentators being too stuffy? I note that there are Wikipedia articles on C, Pascal, and Vensim among others, as well as a long article on System Dynamics. All could be regarded as advertisements in some sense. This article has numerous references to published work based on use of Analytica, demonstrating its notability. That it was developed at a major university is another indication of prima facia notability. January 12, 2011.Pkensildavis (talk) 00:27, 13 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
