History:[edit]

"The college is currently existing of 40% international, 40% Dutch and 20% international Dutch students" => what is an "international Dutch" student? How do these differ from regular Dutch or regular international (presumably foreign) students?

I'd rewrite this as "The college currently consists of 40% Dutch, and 40% foreign students. The nationality of the rest is unknown." or something along those lines. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.46.45.91 (talk) 14:03, 22 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Irrelevant information[edit]

I just deleted heaps of irrelevant information. Simon Columbus reverted an earlier edit and brought back a bunch of nonsense. Please take a look at this and this. Many of the sources are the AUC website itself. Wikipedia isn't a mirror; you'll need actual secondary sources. 105.227.227.226 (talk) 15:23, 20 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The article, as I have worked on it, is based, in structure, on the article on Swarthmore College. You will see that all topics you have blanked are mentioned as such in articles about other liberal arts colleges (which I assume are the most comparable case for Amsterdam University College). Please actually read the references you have provided for your actions; neither of these justifies your blanking. The first is merely an essay (i.e., NOT in anyway WP policy), the second clearly does not apply to the article as it stands. Please also note that using documents published by the subject described does not equal own research. --Simon Columbus (talk) 19:11, 21 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Notable Alumni[edit]

Neither of the two individuals satisfy concurrently the criteria of being 1) notable, and 2) alumni.

Louis Klamroth is hardly notable and Nimue Smit is not yet an alumni...

Let's try not to bloat our institutional and personal self-importance, shall we? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.139.118.153 (talk) 20:29, 7 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
