My initial changes for dates[edit]

I'm new at this, so I will discuss this before making a change. American Licorice ceased operations in Alsip IL at the end of 2007 and sold their property there. I can not find anything on the net to confirm this, but still think it may be an a nice change.

Also, the company invented a licorice shoe in the 1920's for Charlie Chaplin to chew on in the movie "Gold Rush".

Also, the article states that the company was founded "around" 1914. It should be changed to "was".

Any of those worth adding? Davidm8985 (talk) 01:29, 27 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Both those seem somewhat interesting, especially if you've got a reliable source. I've found Google books very good for hunting down obscure information.
Small changes to articles that are not heavily edited, that are not controversial, not advertising, that have no discussion pages generally can be made without asking (be bold, as Wiki policy states). Enjoy your editing! Piano non troppo (talk) 04:22, 27 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
