This should be an encyclopedia article, not a program note[edit]

And I am *not* stressing the whole copyright thing; my issue has to do with the fact that this article does not read like an encyclopedia article; it reads like program notes--which, among other problems, means that it's POV, almost an advertisement. It needs to be rewritten. I.e., begin with "The American Brass Quintet is a...", etc. Objectviely discuss its history, members, stated purpose (again, objectively), and so forth.

Potential Copyvio[edit]

The proposed Wikipedia article "American Brass Quintet" was submitted by Michael Powell, who is a member of the American Brass Quintet. Mr. Powell submitted the article with good intentions on behalf of the American Brass Quintet, the copyright holder of the webpage cited in the alert from Bmicomp. The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.33.231.209 (talk • contribs) 23:45, 8 August 2005.

I have confirmed the above and am delisting this from the copyright problems page, as well as reverting the article.
