Untitled[edit]

The article seems to ignore the spin-off of Highlander: The Raven after just mentioning it in the first sentence. Could it be possible to add some more information? I vaguely remember her cop friend among other things. These things should be included too. Tetigit 05:52, 3 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Acigare.jpg[edit]

Image:Acigare.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Amanda in The Game[edit]

The article makes Amanda out to be almost a weakling, which is not exactly how she is portrayed in either series. She is a survivor. Like Methos, she prefers not to fight other Immortals, but when she does, she can win, or she'll run away and fight another day. They even seem to question Amanda's sword skills, but this is definitely not fair. In the original series, Amanda is definitely seen as being on par wiht some of Duncans friends, like Kit in "Double Eagle," and she even duels Kalas; of course she lost the duel and ran away, but she didn't lose her head.

In "The Raven" Amanda beats at least seven Immortals fair and square, without help from Nick and without any cheating gimmicks. At least some of those were definitely not dunces. Stefan Colier is playing The Game "by the numbers," and is implied to have killed many other Immortals. Talia Bauer was the European sword champion and what 800 years old, and Amanda actually beat her soundly, twice. One of the other Immortals Amanda beat in the early part of the season was said to have at least two or three dozen kills, and so on. In flashbacks, you also see Amanda beat people in 1vs1 and even handicap sword fights against trained soldiers, in "Matter of Time," so her fighting ability isn't really in question after all. -Wade — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.158.220.18 (talk) 18:10, 28 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
