combination effect with toothpaste compounds?[edit]

What happens in animal experiments when surfactants are combined with aluminum based chemicals/polymers or what have you and fluoride, fluorine etc in various forms over 50 years? does the combination cocktail accumulate. What are findings from human autopsies.

Some sources suggest there wouldn't be issues if these compounds were banned from toothpaste and water purification. What empirical comparative abx studies exist to show eg. If any of these compounds in trace amounts have long term cognitive function effect and whether there is proven technical need for them in tap water systems. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.155.19.195 (talk) 01:45, 17 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Leaving suggestion here to give time for OP to respond.

Aluminum chelation and breast cancer[edit]

The information in this article is incorrect. Currently, there are several projects designed at confirming or refuting the rumors surrounding antiperspirant use and the incidences of breast cancer. I direct your attention to two articles, one from 2003:

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?db=pubmed&cmd=Retrieve&dopt=AbstractPlus&list_uids=14639125&query_hl=6&itool=pubmed_docsum

wherein the abstract discusses the inconclusivity of current expriments. And one from 2005:

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?db=pubmed&cmd=Retrieve&dopt=AbstractPlus&list_uids=16045991&query_hl=6&itool=pubmed_docsum

which expresses a correlation between aluminum complexes and rates of breat cancer.

  • Recent edit has been made to address opinion bias as it relates to the safety of this compound.

I would suggest that the this comment can be considered addressed.
