History[edit]

I deleted the sentence claiming the town was founded in 1759 by Azerbaijani immigrants. The area was still in Native American hands in 1759 and the odds of Central Asian immigration into frontier Georgia is slight to say the least. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.72.244.157 (talk) 20:24, 1 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
