Is it true that only the Melbourne versions have that stupid clicking thing that drivers click to keep the track brakes off?203.214.75.127 January 2006 (UTC)

If you mean a big red push-button, I'm sorry to tell you that no. In fact, this is a safety device (Dead Man Device) installed to ensure the driver is aware. To do so, this device blocks traction and applies brakes if the driver does not send a signal (push the button)within a given interval (few seconds) In other types of rail transport you might find a similar device installed as a pedal with the same function. It's annoying for all, but prevents the train/tram to run driverless. Dretsend

Morocco - Tramway de Rabat-Salé

There is a proposal to re-introduce trams on Rokeby Road (Trams ran from 1900 to 1958) and Citadis is a contender, due to their presence in Melbourne.

Dublin lines

The table in article states:

But the photo in the last row shows a tram of a red line. You can see clearly the photo was made on Seán Heuston Bridge (and Heuston Station in the background), which makes it the Red line.

Any thoughts onwhy this picture is there? Were trams on Red Line transferred to green line? There's no information about it. Thanks, Hołek ҉ 09:00, 15 June 2013 (UTC)

The picture is dated 2005, so it is clearly a Citadis 301/401 type. It's put in the wrong row when it is shown as a Citadis 402 type. (although I understand that the design hasn't changed and even Alstom hasn't updated the Dublin Citadis reference photo[1]). Guidod (talk) 10:20, 23 June 2013 (UTC)

Train type determination: bidirectional or monodirectional?

An important property of the vehicules seems to be missing: How can readers determine whether the trains are bidirectional or not? Bidirectional means: with two fully equipped driver cockpits (on both ends). This is very important for considerations about city space, network complexity, flexibility and redundancy (turning loops at the terminal stations or between, rail changer points etc).--Sun-kid (talk) 19:30, 2 August 2014 (UTC)
