Not a webseries[edit]

Alpha House is not a webseries. Amazon, Hulu and Netflix count as tv stations, even if they aren't technically on television. 173.73.58.243 (talk) 21:08, 9 November 2013 (UTC)ZEB[reply]

I wouldn't call any of these outfits "tv stations" but I agree that webseries has been in use long enough to accrue considerable meaning, and the meaning of "webseries" does not properly fit Alpha House, Betas, House of Cards or the Netflix extension of Arrested Development.
But I don't think TV series is quite right, either. I would suggest the term IPTV series be used to refer to episodic video made for web delivery. This term is already in use for the article One Fine Day (IPTV series). Bustter (talk) 11:04, 13 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
The convention for these web-delivered series like House of Cards (with full-length episodes) seems to be to consider them like any other TV series.— TAnthonyTalk 21:55, 15 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
