Alloway Halloween Parade[edit]

The most pertinent event over the course of the year is the annual Alloway Halloween parade, and typically the only time of year that street lights are used. The parade includes floats of local orginizations, most notably the FFA, assorted bands in the region, and high school age girls in cars vying for the prize of Alloway Halloween Parade queen. In past years the election process had gone more smoothly, however contreversy erupted after the most recent vote. The two most expected winners found themselves neither winning, nor coming in one of the two runner-up positions. The finger has been pointed upon Parade Commitee member Beth Reily, no statement has been released at the time being. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.235.39.14 (talk) 15:08, 26 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
