Allancastria Bryk, 1934

(Ackery (1975)) treated Allancastria Bryk as a synonym of Parnalius Rafinesque = Zerynthia Ochsenheimer making reference to a desirable consistency in approach otherwise "it would seem that there is equal justification for raising the status of the species groups of Parnassius to genera! but c.f. also Niculecu (1979): "Le genre Doritis F. est bien un genre valuable".
