The 'Death' section lacks documentation.[edit]

The article's allegation, that "Many doctors believe that her pancreas cancer was caused by her excessive use of vitamins and prescription drugs" is not supported by any source. None of these doctors is named and we don't know if she had really consumed such products. Has it been confirmed that they cause pancreatic cancer anyway?--62.38.64.214 01:27, 17 July 2007 (UTC)s[reply]

I corrected this part and I thing I have improved it a little. I am not the author of this article, but I agree that this line was just a gossip, not a fact.--85.75.123.144 01:48, 11 September 2007 (UTC) KStel26

Some changes[edit]

I made some additions in the 'trivia' section based on the IMDB article and I added the cine.gr link (although in Greek), which is a decent source too. I removed the following text, which does not make sense to non-Greeks: "ultil Safe Sex and Loufa kai Parallagi 2 were released". Finally, I changed the definition at the beginning of the article from "Greek film actress" to just "Greek actress", as Aliki was also active in theater and made some TV appearances too. If you make changes, please use the discussion page, in orded to collaborate on the article more efficiently.--79.130.37.10 (talk) 15:23, 24 December 2008 (UTC) st[reply]

Her father[edit]

I think her father was killed by the Greek communist partisans during the Occupation or the Civil war and not by the Germans Greco22 (talk) 19:38, 31 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Several sources indicate that her father was the Nomarch of Arcadia, and the Greek biography of her brother Takis indicates that their father indeed had that position. Also, the Mixani tou Chronou documentary (about 2006 or 2007) affirms that he was killed by ELAS. The Elasites Koutsougeros relates a story of Vougouklakis arriving with the Italian occupation forces in order to confiscate the crops of his (Kouteougeros's) village, and states that Vougouklakis was eventually executed by ELAS. Another right-wing account claims he was taken away, tortured and brutally murdered. I have tried to settle for neutrality - although it seems that Vougiouklakis was working for the German/Italian occupation and could be considered a quisling, it might be a bit unfair to to make too much of this one aspect of her background given that the biography is so brief.
