[Untitled][edit]

My apologies to the rest of the community. It seems I have messed up the article, though all I tried to do was insert a reference. I have tried to fix it but failed. Can somebody help? Unoffensive text or character 14:58, 14 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Interwiki[edit]

I'm not against having an Interwiki, but it should state that it is a link to the Catalan wiki not to the "Alguerese" wiki (which doesn't exist).

Simple past perfect...?[edit]

* Simple Past Perfect has been replaced by Present Perfect (present of HAVER + past participle), possibly due to Italian influence.

There's no such thing as a "simple past perfect". Tenses in a simple aspect have one verb only, perfect tenses have verb+participle.

I'm assuming what is meant here is "past simple", aka "preterite", as this is the only logical explanation for the phrase "possibly due to Italian influence".

The past perfect is "he had done". It's not Italian-like to say "he has done" instead of "he had done", and I don't believe that this happens in alguerés. 82.41.42.2 (talk) 15:43, 15 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Article title[edit]

Why "Algherese dialect" and not just "Algherese"? The status of the lect as language or dialect would therefore not be explicit in the title, and any disagreement could be dealt with in the article. Prof Wrong (talk) 21:46, 30 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Algherese vs. Alguerese[edit]

Being a Catalan dialect and not an Italian dialect, why is the dialect's name spelled with Italian orthography in this article? It's "alguerès" in Catalan.--62.57.72.234 (talk) 23:47, 16 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
