Per WP:BIO, "The person has made a widely recognized contribution that is part of the enduring historical record in his or her specific field." i.e., The Fundamentals, which formed the basis of the modernist-fundamentalist split of the 20th century.
Per WP:PROF, "The person is or has been an editor-in-chief of a major well-established journal in their subject area." i.e., The Gospel Messenger, the primary periodical for the Church of the Brethren.
