A Marine 1st Lt. - Matthew R. Vandergrift (also spelled in some sources as Vandegrift) - died on in combat in Iraq on 4/21/2008. Was he any relation?--Purpleslog (talk) 06:32, 2 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Vandegrift High School - named for Marine Corps First Lieutenant Matthew R. Vandegrift (mentioned above), obviously not for Alexander Vandegrift, more for instance http://www.kvue.com/news/New-high-school-named-after-fallen-Marine-101311379.html

"In popular culture" links to a wrong person[edit]

it should be Stephen Leeder, the actor (not sure if he is on Wikipedia). Instead, it links to some Australian doctor. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.69.199.182 (talk) 12:25, 15 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
