Open ears for suggestion[edit]

Hello, this is my first published article on Wikipedia. I decided to create this article due to this elementary school's historical background as well as being a former alumni myself. If you find something wrong with my editing or writing, please bare with me and let me know about it. I would greatly appreciate your advise so that I quickly improve this article. Notability and sourcing issues[edit]

As written, the article does not have enough verifiable sources to meet the general notability guideline. While three books and a research paper (which, clocking in at 256 pages may as well be a book) that are likely reliable have been cited, neither page numbers nor links to their contents have been provided, making the attached claims almost impossible to verify. The online sources, meanwhile, are insufficiently independent to contribute toward notability. Moreover, I have been unable to verify some of the more impressive claims in the article (such as claiming that the school was listed as a "most endangered historic place") by searching for sources myself. Had I been the first reviewer to come across this article, I would have likely moved it to draft space with the above comments. As others have already begun the BRD process, I'll instead ping involved editors Barkeep49, Ousainou Adeniyi and Black Falcon to weigh in here. signed, Rosguill talk 23:55, 14 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

When Black Falcon decided to revert I wanted it to be seen by another NPP but beyond that I'm staying out of whatever happens with this article. Best, Barkeep49 (talk) 00:14, 15 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for pinging me, Rosguill, and sorry for being tardy in responding. I will review the sources over the next week or so, and add to the article if I can. It may be the case, after further discussion, that deletion is the appropriate course of action, but several claims within the article are suggestive of notability—including the Blue Ribbon award, which is verified in an independent source (at least for 2015). -- Black Falcon (talk) 01:39, 2 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
