Category?[edit]

I'm a bit doubtful about Alex's categorisation as "Anglo-Scot". Sure, he's been reported as saying that his grandfather comes from Glasgow, but is it terribly significant? -- Arwel (talk) 17:05, 2 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Beginnings[edit]

I don't have any sources at present, but I know it to be true that Danny Boyle selected Etel from a group of children from non-acting backgrounds. Alex had little or no acting experience prior to appearing in Millions and casting was done in a tour of primary schools from the Manchester area.
