It's not "developed from"

This are two different aircrafts, it sounds like the M-346 would be an advanced version of the yak 130! Btw. it could never be a development from the yak due to the yak has been developing till 2008-2009. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.168.125.62 (talk) 23:21, 1 September 2010 (UTC)

"Developed from" is more accurate than "variant". It doesn't imply it's more advanced, just different enough that it's not a straight variant. - BilCat (talk)
"Developed from" implies that Yak-130 was a base for further development. It's not. Was it developed after implementation of Yak-130? No. It's variant of the very same airframe. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 46.233.221.124 (talk) 12:18, 8 October 2011 (UTC)

Israeli lease deal

http://www.defenseindustrydaily.com/Italy-Israel-A-Billion-Dollar-Offer-They-Didnt-Refuse-07476/

Is it notable that the Israeli Air Force is not purchasing the aircraft but instead "leasing" training time from the company that is buying the aircraft in order to increase the total cost of the needed service? Hcobb (talk) 20:47, 24 July 2012 (UTC)

No. Perhaps on the Israeli Air Force page, but not here. - The Bushranger One ping only 22:12, 24 July 2012 (UTC)
The problem with adding to the IAF page is that of scale. Very few aircraft of the IAF are broken out into their own articles and so to keep the article down to 50 kB, only one sentence is allowed per type. Hcobb (talk) 23:27, 24 July 2012 (UTC)
