Photographs and architecture[edit]

Not sure about these 'banners' - difficult to provide an architectural article on something that was demolished in 1760; or indeed photographs.

I wonder, though, why the article makes no mention of the important contribution the sealing of the pump made to the City's health in a cholera epidemic in 1849 —Preceding unsigned comment added by Herrylaw (talk • contribs) 07:06, 28 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Population?[edit]

Silly questions perhaps:
Does the Aldgate district contain only "commercial" property ?
Does it contain residential property ? If so, how many people live in the district ?
