Details of the routing[edit]

The AKDOT NHS maps show only the Haines Highway from BC to Haines (Main Street and 2nd Avenue?) as AK-7. [1] claims it continues to the ferry terminal in Haines.

Aha! The state MUTCD supplement describes the routes:

AK-7: Major highways in Southeast, including:
South Tongass Hwy, North Tongass Hwy (Ketchikan)
Nordic Drive, Mitkoff Hwy (Petersburg)
Glacier Hwy, Egan Drive (Juneau)
Haines Hwy, Haines to Border
