Did the same Alan Hart who worked for the BBC also author the books mentioned in the article?[edit]

Is the Alan Hart who wrote those books really the same man as this article is about? Angmering 17:06, 5 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I asked the same question and it APPEARS from my limited research that he IS. I could be TOTALLY wrong and I will try to research this more. If you can find out anything in the meantime, please advise. I tried to add this as a "compromise" to user User:Saladin1970 who is err, tied up at the moment see [1] :) Thanks! --Tom 17:20, 5 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Tricky to find much on the BBC Hart, as I found when I originally created this page. I'll see what I can dig up when I get the chance. Angmering 17:24, 5 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Indeed, it appears that the same Mr. Hart both worked at the BBC and also authored several books critical of Zionism. I base this conclusion on the fact that a Mr. Hart identified as a former BBC correspondent is now hosting a debate program on the Islam Channel titled Zionism: The cancer at the heart of international affairs [2]. Although not definitive, this at least serves as a strong suggestion that it is the same Mr. Hart as the one who authored the books mentioned in this Wikipedia entry. --Ryanaxp 17:50, 4 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It's not the same guy. In light of Mr. Hart's recent appearance on Alex Jones, I think it would be best to uncomplicate things and remove the reference to him appearing on Alex Jones. This info should appear under "Alan Hart (writer)." Note that in the bio on Alanhart.net, there is no mention of him being a TV executive. The fact that Alan Hart of Alex Jones fame worked for the BBC only proves that there were at least two guys at the BBC named Alan Hart -- one was an executive and the other was a "presenter"/reporter. 99.141.58.29 (talk) 02:16, 31 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
