Afro asiatic?[edit]

semitic languages are considered afro asiatic? MALTESE IS A EUROPEAN LANGUAGE.

apparently Semitic languages are considered afro asiatic (a new term to me). Maltese is a Semitic language so the stub is proper. I wonder about the placement of Maltese in Category:Arabic languages instead of in Category:Semitic languages. This may be better discussed on Talk:Maltese language ? Relating from Wikipedia:Malta-related topics notice board, there is an article in the MT wiki from which one can get ideas. I entered most of the info there but atm I do not have the time for lengthy additions to wikipedia. VodkaJazz 16:37, 7 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
