If a page on plnging jet is required, one can - to my opinion - use a jet from a tap that pluges into a bath. When some soap is added to the water the entrained air keeps visible as soap bubbles....

"Air Entrainment"[edit]

This article starts well enough by explaining what air entrainment is. It goes on in the second paragraph called "Process" to give some background about the naturally occurring air in concrete and the problems it causes.

Everything gets a bit murky in the third paragraph when it becomes difficult to tell if they've transitioned to intentional entrainment or are still discussing naturally occurring air entrainment.

To clear this up at least some questions need to be answered explicitly in this article.

1) Why intentional air entrainment is different than the naturally occurring entrainment.

2) Why is intentionally air entrained concrete more durable as is stated in the article.

3) What happens to the intentionally added air bubbles during curing, and what role does it play after curing.

4) Assuming the intentionally added bubbles are larger than the naturally occurring air bubbles, how much bigger are they and how does that affect the cured structure overall.

I came to this page to learn the basic what, where, why, when, and how of air entrainment, (or entrainment of other gasses,) on structures made of various cured/solidified materials, including concrete.

I would also be more confident in the information if there were cited sources. And it would be a real bonus if at least one "Further Reading" source was added.
