Ain Tree[edit]

Since the "Ain Tree" had to be cut down in 2004. I think it would be interesting to provide further information on this event which was probably undesired. Autkm 02:08, 24 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Village[edit]

Aintree "village" is in no actual sense a village. I grew up there and it was (and is) distinctly unvillagey. What it essentially is, is a suburb of Liverpool. I can only regard the affectation of the "village" moniker as either a ruse to push up house prices, or a reflection of some kind of snobbishness in certain residents. It may indeed have historically been called this, but there is a reason they stopped. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.105.140.161 (talk) 17:54, 6 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
