(album) removed, and reverted[edit]

(album) was removed, I have reverted. Aimless wandering is a more likely redirect for the baseline. In ictu oculi (talk) 13:57, 13 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Requested move 14 April 2015[edit]

Aimlessness (album)Aimlessness – Request in my user talk page (Anthony Appleyard (talk) 16:43, 14 April 2015 (UTC)):[reply]

  • Hi Anthony - sorry to bother you, but could you please move Aimlessness (Dntel album) back to Aimlessness. I see that In ictu requested it as uncontroversial, but that was after I had undone his previous unilateral move, so it was obviously not uncontroversial. If he wishes to move it, he should request an RM. The page currently at Aimlessness could be moved to Aimlessness (disambiguation). Thanks. Dohn joe (talk) 16:12, 14 April 2015 (UTC).[reply]
  • Support. per WP:DICTDEF. Wikipedia is WP:NOTADICTIONARY. This should also be reverted per WP:BRD, as it was moved unilaterally without prior discussion. Dohn joe (talk) 16:49, 14 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose - Gorobay moved the completely non-notable Aimlessness (album) stub to Aimlessness with the summary "unnecessary disambiguation" 9 December 2014 so it's impossible to know where Aimlessness was previously redirecting or why the article creator created it with (album) but that is how it was created. It's evident in Google books that as a topic "Aimlessness is..." relates to apranihita, and it may well be that Aimlessness (Buddhism) should in fact be at the Sanskrit term rather than the English rendering favoured by Sangharakshita and others. Thank you Anthony for attempts to turn that into dab page, have separated out the dab and the Buddhist concept. In the meantime, the album really needs an AFD to determine whether it can be improved to pass WP:NALBUM. In ictu oculi (talk) 18:17, 14 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • To most people "aimlessness" means "lack of aim or purpose", and have not heard of the pop music album or the Buddhist term. Someone should dig up the Devanagari spelling of "apranihita", so that its proper scholarly Roman-alphabet transcription with vowel-length markers etc can be used here. Takes a retroflex ṇ, short vowels only apraṇihita. In ictu oculi (talk) 06:35, 15 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
