From Puerto Rico??[edit]

I'm sure they have aguinaldos in Puerto Rico, but in Venezuela is a music genre too, and it didn't come from puerto rico. --66.65.91.181 07:13, 23 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It's also a 13th salary[edit]

'Aguinaldo' is also the word for a extra salary, equivalent to a monthly wage, that's paid to workers and that has force of law in several Latin-American countries. 201.200.145.29 (talk) 17:36, 5 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Indeed, and in fact it's the primary use of the word. The thing is we won't be able to fix this unless the proper article is created. After that we could disambiguate accordingly. I'll see what I can do, but it'll take some time before I approach this task. Best, FoCuSandLeArN (talk) 19:15, 23 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Any update on this? I can make a proposal. Image2012 (talk) 12:57, 5 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
New concern, there's an article about thirteenth salary that mentions aguinaldo as being used in Mexico, Guatemala, and Costa Rica to refer to it, but evidently it is the term used in most of Latin America. I am revising accordingly. Image2012 (talk) 13:37, 5 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

What to do with "Philippine aguinaldo"?[edit]

Should this be moved to a separate page or be included in Aguinaldo? Image2012 (talk) 14:23, 5 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
