Agmel is most assuredly no hoax but rather a product which was marketed by the Zonite Products Corporation in the early 20th century, and which formed the most prominent item marketed in one of their company's divisions. There are numerous newspaper acounts of its sale over decades, including most reliable sources, the Wall Street Journal (which I have cited), the New York Times, etc. --Robert (talk) 16:21, 8 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank your for correcting the article. If it had been "Aguamiel" from the start I would not have proded it, as the product under this does does get a substantial number of hits. Passportguy (talk) 16:45, 8 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
