Copyright Violation, or Public domain?[edit]

As for the copyvio discovery and removal, is the original text public domain? Is the work of California school districts public domain? Is the work of the State of California public domain? - Eric 22:14, 29 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Clubs[edit]

One of the clubs, "Asian Students Enticing Awareness" is supposed to be "Asian Students Inticing Awareness," thus forming the letters ASIA. BenSamel 07:05, 22 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

"In addition, all students must successfully pass the California High School Exit Exam."[edit]

Or what?

The statement doesn't make it particularly clear what happens to those who fail, or evil what the "California High School Exit Exam" is.--86.179.212.200 (talk) 11:19, 3 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Campus security[edit]

I don't understand why all these edits about Campus Security are being reverted as vandalism. It is very accurate information. Everyone in the area knows that Agoura High has one of the most comprehensive security forces for a high school. Schoolsecurity (talk) 19:20, 7 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You, "Schoolsecurity", claim that everyone in the area knows such and such. You may be wrong, or perhaps you're right and they are wrong. Where are your reliable sources?
To the claim by a recent editor that the proof of allegations is in photographs: Rubbish. The mere provision of photographs provides no evidence that the photos were taken where it's claimed they were taken or that they show what they're claimed to show.
The "semi-protection" of this article for one month did little to dampen the enthusiasm for editing when the one month ended. I've just semi-protected it for another month. If excited, evidence-free additions resume at the end of this second month, I'll happily see the article semi-protected for six months or a year. Meanwhile, people with a burning desire to provide the world with unsourced factoids about the school may wish to do so on their own blogs. -- Hoary (talk) 05:49, 17 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sure you realize this, Hoary, but this has been an ongoing situation for a while now, and these are not the first protections this article has had. I'm thinking the solution is going to end up being with the editor, not the article. Gtwfan52 (talk) 19:21, 17 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

History[edit]

Agoura High School was opened in 1964 by principal Al Acton. The first graduating class in 1967 had fifty students. The new school had no outdoor track, auditorium, or gym. The track team practiced in the street. Al Acton went on to be the headmaster of the International Bangkok School which during the height of the Vietnam War had over 3,000 students. 174.27.141.7 (talk) 03:29, 29 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
