Article issues[edit]

The lead states "Agkistrodon piscivorus piscivorus was formerly a venomous pitviper". This may need some tweaking because it seems that, at a point, the snake stopped being a venomous pitviper. Of course the best results for Wikipedia would be to merge the previous considered subspecies into the Agkistrodon piscivorus article. -- Otr500 (talk) 08:53, 19 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
