Thanks for the definition of this musical term - it was most helpful in understanding where the band is coming from.

agitpop band or term?[edit]

i was wondering why the photos were taken down? they are not copy protected. --Artclay 21:13, 9 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

the term needs to be seperated from the article on the band. --Artclay 21:13, 9 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

the term is now: Agit-Pop as it should be and the band now as Agitpop as it should be.

tone of article[edit]

well dont know why anyone would be offended. if they read it they will know that the best of american politics were always involved with being independent of the mass, thinking for oneself, and enjoying life as a person and not as a willing cog. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.77.181.213 (talk) 13:12, 19 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The tone of this article is still horrible and opinionated... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.60.21.223 (talk) 18:30, 27 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

improper tone[edit]

the sentence that might seem offensive has been changed. the tag was removed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Artclay (talkcontribs) 10:44, 16 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Such accusations are easy to make. For example: you are being offensive by not giving your argument for your accusations. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Artclay (talkcontribs) 05:48, 8 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Some adjustments made to the article. Trivia removed and references added.

Wikipedia's Law of Unintended Consequences

If you write in Wikipedia about yourself, your group, your company, or your pet idea, once the article is created, you have no right to control its content, and no right to delete it outside our normal channels. Content is not deleted just because somebody doesn't like it. Any editor may add material to or remove material from the article within the terms of our content policies. If there is anything publicly available on a topic that you would not want included in an article, it will probably find its way there eventually. More than one user has created an article only to find himself presented in a poor light long-term by other editors. If you engage in an edit war in an attempt to obtain a version of your liking you may have your editing access removed, perhaps permanently.

In addition, if your article is found not to be worthy of inclusion in the first place, it will be deleted, as per our deletion policies. Therefore, don't create promotional or other articles lightly, especially on subjects you care about.

If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Agitpop, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors;
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam); and,
  4. avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.
