Changed leopard gecko's originating location to be in agreement with the natural environment listed on the Leopard Gecko's page. Here it stated 'Iran,' whereas on the Leopard Gecko page, it was stated as 'the deserts of southern Central Asia, and throughout Pakistan, to the northwestern parts of India.'

Nocturnal vs Crepuscular vs Cathermeral[edit]

The African fat-tailed gecko is currently listed as crepuscular, in contradiction with the sources cited. This was changed from nocturnal in October of 2019 without providing a citation in support of this assertion. There are three sources listed for this article - two state that this species is nocturnal, the third does not say anything about when they are active. None support assertions of crepuscularity. There is a recent trend amongst pet keepers to assert that eyelid gecko species are crepuscular or cathemeral. This appears to pertain to husbandry preferences and the belief they may need UVB lights in captivity. Husbandry needs are outside of the scope of wikipedia as this is not a how-to; but the assertion of crepuscularity currently appears to be an assertion spawned on social media without any primary or academic literature as supporting evidence. Though I believe a revert to nocturnal is warranted, I have changed this assertion to say "citation needed" instead of changing it back to nocturnal for two reasons:

1) I am more familiar with leopard geckos and have not yet dived down the rabbit hole of African fat tailed primary literature.

2) Attempts to revert this assertion on the leopard gecko page have been met with vandalism and a long term edit war across dozens of edits that is now partially managed by an admin, and the article is still frequently changed to say the species is crepuscular, despite no attempts to discuss on the talk page and not a single piece of supporting evidence ever having been provided. Presuming I am correct that this is the same issue and this species is truly NOT crepuscular, I am worried that if I change this article to support what the citations actually say, it will merely be reverted again by another IP editor going off of social media information, and there will be no evidence left on the main page that this assertion was ever in question. At least with the current template there is some indication that this assertion is in question that is unlikely to be reflexively removed by an IP editor.

As the assertion this species is crepuscular remained uncited for the last four months and I have found citations listing this species as nocturnal, I have removed the crepuscular assertion from the introduction and the article now states this species is nocturnal. If there are citations to the contrary I have not seen please locate and provide those prior to any changes.
