Afoxê/afoxé[edit]

I am not quite sure why this article is called afoxê. The word is pronounced with an open e, and every Brazilian writes it as afoxé. LeRoc (talk) 03:35, 18 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I agree with you. Afoxé (not Afoxê) is the name given to the group and type of music they play. All academic articles refer to it as "Afoxé". Therefore, I have chosen to use "Afoxé" when writing this article Writer3444 (talk) 09:34, 2 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
