Split[edit]

I suggest splitting L-59 and L-159 into two separate articles. Or combining L-59 with L-39 and dedicating separate one for L-159. While L-59 and L-39 are basically the same design with western avionics, L-159 is completely new aircraft with redesigned fuselage, wings, engine. And unlike its predecessor it has also a multi-mode radar, which changes the appearance considerably. Xmort 04:08, 5 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with splitting--Yxen 14:44, 29 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
As long as the resultant L-59 and L-159 articles wouldn't both be virtually stubs... - Aerobird Target locked - Fox One! 15:52, 29 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

In picture is L-159 not L-59 or L-39MS — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.250.1.238 (talk) 20:55, 28 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hardpoints[edit]

The specs read "4 external hardpoints". I'm looking at the photo and it shows 3 hardpoints under 1 wing. -- Adeptitus 23:59, 7 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You are right, that is because the picture doesn't show L-59 but L-159 which is quite considerably redesigned aircraft. Xmort 04:20, 8 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
