You guys know in what countries is the AB-115 used? Because as far as I know, they are only used in Brazil, mostly as trainer aircrafts.

The AB-115 is the most used of them, and is nicknamed "Boerinho" (Little Boero). Its bigger brother, the AB-180, is also used here in Brazil, in both trainer roles and sailplane towing, and is nicknamed "Boerão" (Big Boero). It might also be intersting to note that, in portuguese, "boero" sounds identical to "bueiro", which means literally "manhole" (no, seriously, take a look at the wikitionary!). I don't have to say how many jokes we hear about it at the Brazilian aviation schools.

Specs[edit]

I am adding a few more informations to this article. I've changed some data in the Specifications section, based on the real aircraft's manual and flight impressions by actual instructors. If you guys want, I can include the references (though I don't know if they are available online).

You need to provide a proper cite to a reliable source. Otherwise your changes are likely to be reverted.Nigel Ish (talk) 10:13, 22 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
