Article could be a more wieldy read[edit]

Generally, this article is unusual in quoting a full newspaper obituary of a subject. I wonder if the article would read better if information from it were incorporated into the earlier sections of the article, with citation at points where the information is put. This might make it possible to remove it as a section or just reduce that present section to selected paragraphs such as the tribute to his workmanship and his own views on sculpture.

Also the references to records in the National Archives in the 'Other works' section and other accounts of his sculptures could be rewritten, making the file numbers part of inline citations, leaving on the table the information they contain.

Some of the 'Other works' listed have wiki articles in their own right to which some of the information could be transferred. Detail concerning Jones' own input could be left on this page.Cloptonson (talk) 06:53, 21 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
