History section modified[edit]

I would like to add a historical map for Adena, Ohio- specifically a 1924 Sanborn Fire insurance map image from Wikimedia commons (https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Adena,_Jefferson_and_Harrison_County,_Ohio,_1924_-_DPLA_-_0984f1f54d84f68c1095742ffab7d9e6_(page_1).jpeg) to this page, however the edit has been undone. I would like some advice on why this is considered decorative and unnecessary. The Sanborn fire insurance maps have been used by people interested in historical home renovation, architecture, geography, public history and genealogy. I have added my employer on my user page (Kent State University), though we do not financially benefit from promoting this collection or images- we are simply librarians hoping to share this collection with interested parties, and it was our hope that embedding an image on the individual town page would be the best place. Happy to hear any thoughts or suggestions. Vdressle (talk) 14:49, 31 January 2022 (UTC)Vdressle[reply]
