John Perryn School[edit]

Why is John Perryn Junior School consistently misquoted as a Secondary School? It has always been an Infant and Junior School and should be properly listed as a Primary School (most famous pupil perhaps Terry Nelhams aka Adam Faith). The estate built on the former site of Acton Golf Course (at which the school is on the edge of: in Long Drive) had both Private housing and Council Housing up to the 1980s. The names of the roads (even Braid Avenue) were all related to Golf (such as St Andrews; Carlisle: The Green, The Approach, Brassie, Sunningdale).(Victor Middlesex (talk) 05:18, 18 December 2014 (UTC))[reply]

It isn't "consistently misquoted" at all. In fact, it is (was) only mentioned once in the entire article. Someone added it as a secondary school, which was indeed an error. I have removed it again, as it is clearly a primary school. (Borough Council reference here.) Small errors like this can often occur, and the best policy is simply to correct them yourself, adding an explanation in the edit summary box, and adding an external reference if your edit is an alteration (no reference required if it is a deletion, as in this case, but an edit summary is still required). Sorry, you've misunderstood. It has been misquoted on other Wiki pages and sites, so it is consistently misquoted. Keep calm. (Victor Middlesex (talk) 14:02, 18 December 2014 (UTC)).[reply]

Acton Junction[edit]

As Joe Brown has written _the_ book on London's Railways I feel it is acceptable to quote him on the newly-rediscovered station to be published in the sixth edition. --AlisonW (talk) 16:05, 14 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
