Talk:Aberystwyth University Debating Union

First of all, this is the first day of entry for this page. I am aware that it needs to be improved in referencing et al and this will be done.

As for its notability, it is identical in design to the many other university debating societies' pages currently existing on wikipedia, such as the University of Limerick Debating Union.

These are part of the overall lexicon of debating information which wikipedia is preserving. Much of the history of this very ancient activity has been lost, despite the efforts of some, in more recent years, to preserve it. This is held under the subcatagory of student debating societies (see below). .

I believe the notability of the article is confirmed by both these points.

Having looked at WP:CLUB, I am not sure that the correct place for this artical is in Aberystwyth University. Codf1977 (talk) 20:15, 8 January 2010 (UTC)
