The dig by Headland uncovered some Samian/TS and a what was interpreted as a well with a fence erected around the side facing the Vicus ("Say someone was stumbling around at night they might fall in"). I cannot comment on the other structures as I was badly hit by sunstroke and spent the rest of the dig in bed.

Latin?[edit]

I don't think "Aurelian Moors" is the right translation (surely it was a unit raised under the Emperor of that name?), and I can't quite visualise "Nerva’s Own Germans". But I haven't got the Latin to hand. It would be helpful if it were quoted in the article. Deipnosophista (talk) 08:43, 30 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
