Comedy is hard[edit]

I found

his parting words quote the actor Ed Wynn, "Dying is easy, comedy is hard...You might take some comfort in that".

but no one else on the net associates the expression with him. The contributor may have had in mind the confused attribution of that sentence to Edmund Gwenn, about which see talk:Edmund Gwenn#How hard is comedy?. I'm changing it, for now, to

his parting words repeat the dying words attributed to several English-language actors, "Dying is easy, comedy is hard" and follow it with "You might take some comfort in that".

God, this is such a powerful homage reminder of The Day the Earth Stood Still. Having watched this episode in childhood and to this day I am firmly convinced of the imperishable masterpiece The Day when the Earth Stood Still served as the main source of inspiration for the author.--164.0.7.108 (talk) 19:58, 22 November 2021 (UTC)Titus Kacan[reply]
