How do I change the title from A short History of the World H.G. Wells to A Short History of the World? Help appreciated.

A Short History of the World already exists. Is moved it to A Short History of the World (H.G. Wells) instead. Travelbird (talk) 00:29, 11 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

References.[edit]

Considering the actual book is an external link / reference, I don't know what more this article would need in terms for references to bring it "up to standard"? —Preceding unsigned comment added by XRiamux (talkcontribs) 09:26, 24 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of deletion / notability template appropriate?[edit]

The notability for books tag at the top of the page implies that this book does not meet notability guidelines for books. However under the page Wikipedia:Notability (books) it is stated that;

"5. The book's author is so historically significant that any of his or her written works may be considered notable. This does not simply mean that the book's author is him/herself notable by Wikipedia's standards; rather, the book's author is of exceptional significance and the author's life and body of work would be a common study subject in literature classes."

Would I be mistaken in saying H.G. Wells falls into this category? --D Namtar 16:58, 28 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have removed notability due to the author in the notability guidelines, as well as my adding of certain essays and references in which the book is mentioned. The book also formed a base for other classroom text books and is studied into in some depth in various scholarly essays such as The Early H.G. Wells. --D Namtar 20:21, 28 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
