The hatnote does not reflect current (and correct) reality[edit]

Please ignore the part of the hatnote that claims that Intel 80188 redirects to 80188 (microprocessor). The redirection, subsequent to this revision to "80188 (microprocessor)" and this revision to "Intel 80188", now goes the other way, as should be the case (see Talk:Intel 80188). I reversed the hatnote to reflect current reality. 50.53.15.59 (talk) 05:05, 19 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Also, if the hatnote speaks of stuff from Intel 80188 being copied or moved to this page, note that everything that was in this page should now be in Intel 80188, with this page redirecting to Intel 80188; the stuff copied or moved to this page is no longer in this page, and the history of Intel 80188 directly reflects the history of most of the contents of that page. Some of the history of 80188 (microprocessor) also reflects stuff that is now in Intel 80188. Guy Harris (talk) 09:35, 19 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The "hatnote" tells that, if Intel 80188 is deleted, this article (which is a redirect right now, but could be an article again) should be deleted too, otherwise its a copyright violation (because the copyright belongs to the people which edited Intel 80188. Right now this article is a redirect to "Intel 80188", but nobody knows what happens in the future. Dont use to much time on this. It really doesnt matter whats on the talk page... :-) Christian75 (talk) 11:33, 19 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I see no reason whatsoever to make this an article ever again, unless there's an "80188" microprocessor other than the Intel 80188. The only reason I'd see for deleting Intel 80188 would be if its contents were merged into Intel 80186 or if the Intel 80186 and 80188 were somehow deemed not noteworthy and their pages removed. And I wouldn't assume that "It really doesnt matter whats on the talk page"; I really don't want the talk page making counter-factual claims that might confuse readers.
