Deletion of edits[edit]

Mentioning of the Hebrew Bible could better be placed in the centuries that it appeared. The creation and Adam and Eve don't belong in the 38th century, since those events didn't occur and are thereby lies. An encyclopedia should be based on facts and not on lies, so the lies need to be deleted.--Daanschr 18:16, 30 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Contradiction of a lunar year[edit]

In the current version of the page there are two years listed for the creation of the world. Can we decide on one date?

September 25, 3760 BC — First day of the Hebrew calendar (the creation)
October 7, 3761 BC — The epoch (origin) of the modern Hebrew calendar

Also, the antediluvian period is around 1500-1600 years long (creation to Noah's 600th birthday when the flood occurred). We shouldn't be thinking in terms of centuries but in millenia. Valley2city 09:31, 29 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
