Disagreement[edit]

I'm going to offer a differing opinion on the "previous designations" section. According to the Air Force Historical Agency, the 4th Space Warning Squadron, and 1025th Satellite Communications Squadron (Mobile) are considered two separate and distinct organizations. Each had its own birthday ("constituted" date) and deathday ("deactivation" date). Therefore the 137th cannot be a lineal descendant. The 137th did assume the mission of the two orgs, but did not assume their heritage. The 137th, was,is, and will be separate and distinct from the other two organizations. Observations[edit]

In the 'Mission' section "... and operate through all phases of trans/post attack". I understand 'post attack', but what does 'trans attack' mean? This is but one of a number of phrases which is not very well explained. I assume it is a quote from a USAF website. But for this Limey and I suspect, other readers, (even American ones), the jargon is a bit too much.

On a different note, the infobox states that the squadron was activated in 1992, but its a different story in the 'Mobile DSP Communications' section where it says "...was transferred to the newly formed 137th Space Warning Squadron, activated in 1995". [my emphasis]. As the latter is accompanied by a refernce, I am inclined to believe it, but I wish to be sure.
