Aggregate Table[edit]

Peru has 8 slots into the Copa Libertadores and Sudamericana, for 4 each. Places 1-4 should qualify to the Copa Libertadores, with the champions and runner up qualifying instantly, and the third placed team qualifying to the second stage, and the fourth placed team qualifying to the first stage. Places 5-8 qualify to the Sudamericana first stage. I don't know how to edit the aggregate table, so if someone could do it, that would be great. Thank you! @SomeRandomDudeGuy It's not quite like that. Under the format that has been used these last years (Apertura, Clausura and playoffs), the aggregate table only awards six spots: two for the Copa Libertadores and the four Copa Sudamericana ones, which go to the best-placed teams that do not make the finals. The remaining two spots, which are none other than the Perú 1 and Perú 2 berths to the Libertadores, are awarded to the teams that advance to the playoffs and reach the finals, regardless of their placement in the aggregate table. The only way for the aggregate table to award all eight spots under the current format is that one team wins both the Apertura and the Clausura and no playoffs are held. This is why it's not correct to add all eight spots into the aggregate table right away. CodeMars04 (talk) 21:34, 26 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
That clears it up for me, thank you so much. SomeRandomDudeGuy (talk) 21:39, 26 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

3 teams are relegated according to article 10.2 https://cdn.ovacion.pe/Documentos/Reglamento%20Liga1%202024.pdf UEDW (talk) 21:34, 9 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Copa Bicentenario winners[edit]

I thought the winner would get qualification to the Copa Libertadores, not Sudamericana? SomeRandomDudeGuy (talk) 16:37, 15 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
