Legislative results[edit]

@Maho713, I'm slightly confused over where you found the legislative seat breakdown. I've looked at the TSE website and provisional results on it, but I cannot find the seat breakdown anywhere there. AnOpenBook it's been shown in the news, I know that's not a reliable source per se, and checking that many polling stations are still to be counted I know consider that the amount of seats per party should be all put back to 0 and wait for the official results

Definitive results: registered voters discrepancy[edit]

Hi, I'm the one who managed to extract the final results from all the Excel files published on the Electoral Commission's website. Everything seems consistent with the preliminary results with 88% of the votes counted (the ones available before these) and with the amount of votes casted in the past elections. Nevertheless there's still a detail that bothers me: the number of registered voters, which I assumed corresponding to the "total general" figures from the excel files, is different between the presidential and the parliamentary results. The data should be correct since it was just a matter of copypasting from the files, but if someone could double check and/or propose an alternative explanation of what the "total general" could be it would be great.--Fm3dici97 (talk) 12:18, 16 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The discrepancy likely comes from the fact that Costa Ricans overseas can't vote for deputies. They can only vote for President, thus the number of "registered voters" will be different because all ticos living elsewhere that register to vote do not count for the Legislative. --179.50.174.100 (talk) 20:30, 16 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Definitive results[edit]

Since I'm the one who came up with the definitive results from the tens of Excel files dropped by the Electoral Commission I'm opening this section to discuss their goodness with everyone who will have the patience to double check them. As for myself I still think that the Electoral Commission should be used as primary source of the results for obvious reasons, so if we could manage to converge to a definitive and shared version of the results it would be great. Tagging Mewulwe and 179.50.174.100 (who I actually dont know how to tag) since they've been the most active in editing the results. First sheet: presidential results
Second sheet: parliamentary results

Each column correspond to the sum of the data coming from the Electoral Commission session with the same number. I added some extra rows to double check that all the sums were consistent.
